Best Buds

While sitting at the drawing table wondering what would be next on the agenda of my pencil, I couldn't help but think of the bond between animals. Living here on 6 acres and watching the deer, turkey, birds, cats, raccoons, possums, and many other animals that trek through the yard always has me thinking. There is also my precious chocolate Labrador Retriever, River, who loves to chase them all. It can become comical at times. But in my mind I imagined a younger horse with a special little West Highland White terrier. I thought about what their friendship might look like. So, here is my original graphite drawing.
